A vaccination strategy can help protect your kitten from deadly diseases.
Protecting your kitten is the number one priority for us. All kittens need vaccinations to help keep them healthy, and that is why we recommend every kitten be vaccinated at 8, 12, and 16 weeks to prevent serious diseases.
It is generally recommended that kittens begin their vaccine series at 8 weeks of age. With every kitten, protection is important to his or her health, and so it is never too late to start.
In general, kittens receive three sets of vaccines that are given 4 weeks apart. These are generally given at 8, 12 & 16 weeks of age. Once your cat is an adult, we will evaluate their vaccination needs and determine a plan that is suited to his or her lifestyle.
Every patient’s needs are different based on their lifestyle, and each kitten is as individual as you. Our veterinarians are up-to-date on the most current vaccination recommendations and will help determine the most appropriate disease prevention plan for your kitten.
