ATTENTION US TRAVELLERS: We continue to receive lots of inquiries about the updated travel rules for dogs travelling to the U.S. that take effect on August 1, 2024. You can find the most up-to-date information about the new dog rules on the CFIA website.
Nutritional guidance to help and maintain your dog's general health and well-being.
As pet owners ourselves, we know that some pet parents struggle with their dog’s weight. When those cute puppy eyes look at you, it is hard not to reward them. To keep your rewarding in check, we have many solutions that can help, from feeding the correct amount or using the right amount of rewards.
Like people, the number on a scale does not always indicate that your dog is overweight. An ideal body score is the most accurate way for our staff to determine if your dog is overweight. When considering your dog’s overall health, we will look at his or her actual body weight, as well as how much fat is visible over the rib cage and if they still have a waist.
Absolutely, however, it is important to remember that all dogs can have issues with their weight, which can lead to other more serious health concerns.
Our goal is to set you up for success. We consider all of the factors involved in your dog’s weight (ie. lifestyle and nutrition) and help determine a weight loss plan that works for you.
